Romeo and Juliet act 1

I think act one is by far the most important act of the play. It has the scene where Romeo first sees Juliet at the dance and he instantly falls in love with her witch I find to be a bit strange since just one scene before he was saying how he could never live without Rosalyn loving him. Act one also has the scene where Romeo sees Juliet on her balcony. I think this is the most important scene of the play because it is full of important lines like how Romeo always compares her to the sun while he compared Rosalyn to the moon. I was surprised to learn that they are both only thirteen because when I think of a thirteen year old I see a little kid a lot shorter then me running around screaming. When ever I do think about them being thirteen and giving there long and confusing love speeches I get kind of creped out and don’t want to read any more. I think Act one is also important because it sets the whole story line of the play for you. It tells you about how the Capulet’s and Montague’s have been fighting for so long.
